So I am here in D.C., our nations capital. I got in pretty late on Monday night, then had an issue with my credit card at the hotel, which was frustrating because the customer service at those places stinks!!! They always have accents that are difficult to understand on the phone, and at times can't give you the whole story as to what the problem is, which was the case on Monday. So, because of getting in so late on Monday, I had plenty of work to do the past few days, which left me quite tired at the end of the day, so I haven't been out to see any sights. I know, I am slacking. I did see the Washington Monument while flying in, and the capitol building. Driving from the airport I saw several buildings that looked like the buildings where the whole Watergate thing went down, whatever that was all about. The buildings were all very similar to eachother.
It is only about 20-30 miles to downtown Baltimore from my hotel, and I had thoughts of going there to check out a place called Charm City Cakes. It is a shop run by a guy called Duff Goldman. They make really cool cakes. There is a show on the Food Network about them, they are quite interesting people, very LIBERAL ARTS!!! as I would describle them, you know, as in they wear big black boots, all have thick black rimmed glasses, scruffy beards, pasty white skin (most of them), and straight dark (multi) colored hair. The show is called the Ace of Cakes, if I remember right. I know that was a very big stereotype I just layed out there, but I think you get the picture, yes?
Now for some pictures that I didn't get to take...

As I watched the good ol' Utah Jazz lose in such a pitiful manner to the 0-5 Wizards last night, I wondered how close you were to the action. Now I know you weren't there.
You'll have to make another trip out there and see the sights.
