The Olds

I wanted to find a picture of an Olds for my header, but couldn't find a good one on the interweb. Tonight, Jess was taking a trip down memory lane, looking at pictures of our kids from when they were all very little, amazing how kids change so much. Anyways, we came across a folder with pictures of our kids from our Logan days and here was the Olds. I took this picture because I had just got my current job and knew I wouldn't need the Olds anymore, so I had agreed to sell it. It was hard to sell, I had become quite attached to the Olds, no matter how many times I had to figure out why it wouldn't start. I miss it.

When I sold the Olds it didn't even have 80,000 miles on it, after 26 years!!! I remember riding in the back seat of the Olds with Grandma Jessie, looking at those long books, getting car sick from the heat and the odd smell in the car. Those were the days.

Driving the olds brought back lots of memories of Price and Grandma. I was very appreciative of Dad and Grandma passing the Olds on to me. I was also appreciative of Rick Smith, he made a few repairs on it.

Anyways, now I have the Olds to adorn my blog, and I am done going down memory lane.

Ahhh...memory lane. I'm chuckling about your memories of riding in that back seat. I also remember she had a cassette tape - always in that car - that included "send in the clowns." :)

Makes a great header, but the irony is it doesn't match your blog title! It never made it to 100k....

100K Miles...and then some said...

It may some day. It is still being driven, just not by me.
